For over 60 years, the University of Kentucky Varsity Letterwinner Association (K Club) has been a cornerstone of support for former Wildcat athletes. Our organization provides career opportunities, hardship assistance, mentorship, and lifelong camaraderie. But our commitment doesn’t stop there.
KClub proudly stands alongside our neighbors the Ronald McDonald House of Lexington and the Hope Lodge to provide comfort, resources, and hope to families facing medical crises.

The K Club is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization. Our philosophy is to work in tandem with community leaders and use our influence to impact the entire state. Some of our other partners are provided below.

UKVLA Scholarship Assistance Fund
The UKVLA Scholarship Award provides financial assistance to dependents of K Club members pursuing higher education or vocational training. This $2,500 award supports academic achievement and honors the legacy of UK letterwinners by empowering their families’ educational goals.
UKVLA General Operations Fund
This fund supports our maintenance and operational needs , ensuring a comfortable and functional environment. This fund is used to cover essential expenses such as building repairs and upgrades, furniture purchases or replacements, utilities, and other day-to-day costs that keep the club running smoothly.
UKVLA Hardship Assistance Fund
We recognize that the strongest Wildcats face storms. This fund exists to ensure no member walks through hardship alone. Our committee reviews and verifies the submission data. We provide financial relief to active K Club members who are facing unforeseen hardships .
