Adhere to the K Club's values and mission. Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive member, donor, and operational information. Commitment & Engagement: Fulfill the agreed-upon schedule and total hours of the internship. Be punctual, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively about any scheduling conflicts or challenges. Actively participate in team meetings, events, and training sessions. Come prepared to learn, contribute ideas, and engage with assigned tasks enthusiastically. Work Quality & Initiative: Complete assigned projects and daily tasks with attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Seek clarification when needed and ask questions to ensure understanding. Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and a willingness to take on new challenges. Learning & Development: View this internship as a learning opportunity. What the Intern Can Expect from the K Club: Meaningful Work: Assignment to substantive projects that contribute to the organization's goals, not just clerical tasks. Supervision & Mentorship: Designated supervision from a staff member (e.g., Executive Director) who will provide guidance, regular feedback, and mentorship. Learning Environment: Exposure to various aspects of nonprofit operations, including event planning, membership services, digital marketing, fundraising, and facility management. Resources & Safety: Access to necessary tools, technology, and information to complete assignments in a safe and respectful environment. Professional Reference: Upon successful completion, a professional reference and documentation of the internship experience. Logistical & Policy Statements: Schedule: The internship schedule will be mutually agreed upon, with core hours likely falling between [e.g., 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday], with flexibility for event-based hours (e.g., game days, evening mixers). Compensation: This is a [paid/unpaid, for-credit] internship position. If unpaid, all provisions for academic credit will be coordinated by the intern with their educational institution.
